Greetings Costley Family,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 2014-2015 school year!  This year we will continue past success and make exciting changes to make sure this school year is a rewarding educational experience for every student at John L. Costley Middle School.

*PARENTS CAN PICK UP STUDENTS' SCHEDULES Monday - Friday Aug. 25-29 9 am - 1 pm ONLY
*FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL is Thursday, September 4, 2014.
 Students are to report  to school by/before 
7:45 AM.  Our Breakfast Program (Free breakfast for any student) will begin on Sept. 4  7:00-7:45 am.  Our school day ends at 2:15 PM.  Reminder: The 1st day is a school day.  All students are expected to be on time and be present in uniform.

                   Pens and pencils, 6-8 single subject notebooks, Combination lock for locker,
                                                     Backpack, and a Flash Drive (2-5 GB)
                        Gray Pants or Skirts (NO jeans, skinny pants, or sweat pants allowed)
                                                         Blue or White Polo shirt
                                                     Gray or Blue Sweaters ONLY

*Open House is THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2014 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.  Parents can meet with teachers and staff as well as learn more about getting students ready to make the transition to high school next year.
                                                                8th Grade Activities
                                   The total for end-of-year activities is $120 due Dec. 1
The school reserves the right to disallow ANY student to attend ANY activity if the student violates                                                                 school rules and/or policies.
